I am a writer. I have done other jobs. Indeed, I am doing other jobs as I type this. But, since I could hold a pen, I have been a writer. I don’t claim to be a good one; I leave that for my readers to judge. More recently, I have gotten into photography, since there are times I feel the need to express myself visually rather than verbally. But whatever else I do, whatever else I may be, I have always identified myself as a writer.
I have had other blogs. Indeed, my previous blog Over A Candle ran for seven years. It had already been through other incarnations before then. That blog began as a political/philosophy blog (at least my intention was that) and became a kind of general catch-all. I have posted some fiction over there through the years.
I finally felt the need to spend more time writing fiction. These stories come from my muse. I try to listen, I try to do her inspiration justice. And I think it’s time for me to try to keep a blog of some of the things I’ve been writing lately. So Sunday, January 29, 2012 I finally found a domain I liked and started another blog.
After several years of very sporadic writing, I have managed to keep a schedule of posting something every Sunday (before midnight, U.S. Central time). I plan on continuing that schedule for the foreseeable future.
Thank you for reading. Any constructive feedback is welcome.
If you feel inclined to support my writing, I have set up a Ko-Fi account. Please don’t feel obligated.
